The day has finally come and we have broken ground! They trenched our lot and shortly after they set up the forms to pour the foundation. The underground plumbing was also installed. Before trenching began we made most of the selections for the inside of the house. That was a lot harder than I ever imagined. You pick out everything you like and you pray that it all goes together. I have spent a ton of time on Pinterest over the last few months!
I pass by our soon to be neighborhood on my way to work everyday. One Friday, as I was headed to work I saw a cement truck turning into the neighborhood. Of course I had to go check it out to see if he was headed to our house and sure enough he was. As I pulled up to the house they had already began pouring concrete for the foundation. That was pretty cool to see and this was an exciting day for us!
